They've been around for over 90 years thanks to A. C. Gilbert back in 1913!!! After acquiring a degree in medicine, his passion for magic drove him to create a toy company selling magic sets. Although he had dozens of inventions, the construction toy that became famous world-wide... the Erector set... became his name-to-fame!
