Sometimes great toys get discontinued and become PlayMobil Vintage toys

Every Year, Playmobil® brings new or updated products to the market. But every time, there are also sets that go out of production. So each year, between 40 to 60 products come up for discontinuation. When a product is discontinued, it is no longer reproduced, or offered on the retailer's order sheets. The products that disappear are sometimes older sets that get redesigned or updated. For example, the newly designed system-X Horse stable replaces the old pony ranch that still used the old building system. In other cases, items leave the assortment without a replacement, to make room for brand-new themes and sets, like this years new Alien Invasion and Airport themes. And these old toys become Playmobil Vintage which increase in value. Wouldn't it be great to own an authentic Playmobil toy that is probably worth more than it was?
